Russia draws up plans to revamp world finances

MOSCOW, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Russia has drawn up its own proposals to restructure the world financial system, which President Dmitry Medvedev will present at a global summit on the financial crisis next month, a senior official said on Sunday.

U.S. President George W. Bush will host the summit on Nov. 15 in Washington to discuss the causes of the crisis and the principles by which financial regulators and institutions should be reformed.

Invited to the meeting are leaders of the G20, which includes the Group of Seven major industrialized nations and key emerging economies like China, Brazil, India and Russia. Heads of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, United Nations and the Financial Stability Forum have also been invited.....

LONDON (Reuters) - The international financial crisis has given world leaders a unique opportunity to create a truly global society, Britain's Prime Minister Gordon Brown will say in a keynote foreign policy speech on Monday.

In his annual speech at the Lord Mayor's Banquet, Brown -- who has spearheaded calls for the reform of international financial institutions -- will say Britain, the United States and Europe are key to forging a new world order.

"The alliance between Britain and the U.S. -- and more broadly between Europe and the U.S. -- can and must provide leadership, not in order to make the rules ourselves, but to lead the global effort to build a stronger and more just international order," an excerpt from the speech says.

Brown and other leaders meet in Washington next weekend to discuss longer term solutions for dealing with economic issues following a series of coordinated moves on interest rates and to recapitalize banks in the wake of the financial crisis.

"Uniquely in this global age, it is now in our power to come together so that 2008 is remembered not just for the failure of a financial crash that engulfed the world but for the resilience and optimism with which we faced the storm, endured it and prevailed," Brown will say in his speech on Monday evening.

"...And if we learn from our experience of turning unity of purpose into unity of action, we can together seize this moment of change in our world to create a truly global society."

En inte helt purfärsk artikel som jag läste idag men som jag ändå tycker är högaktuell. Kommer Ryssland att göra gemensam sak med EU i ändens tid.

Som jag förstått saken skall ju Antikrist samtidigt som han kallas Nordlandskungen i Dan. 11 och Gog i Hes. 38 o. 39 också representera ett förnyat Romarrike enligt Dan. 2 o. 7.

Samtidigt som vi nu håller ögonen på Obama så får vi inte missa vad som nu händer i den gamla världen.

När Odjuret som kommer står på höjden av sin makt kommer han ju för en tid att ha underlagt sig hela världen.

French President and EU presidency holder Nicolas Sarkozy yesterday (21 October) unveiled a new cooperation strategy with Russia that would build stronger economic links between Europe and its largest Eastern European neighbour.

Speaking in the European Parliament in Strasbourg, Sarkozy called Russia "our neighbours" and surprised the audience by alluding to "a common economic space between Russia and the EU".

The term recalls the early stages of EU history, which saw the development of a 'common market' that was subsequently renamed the 'single market' in the 1980s.

Sarkozy's view of Russia sharing a common economic space marks another step in his attempt to forge a new relationship with Moscow based on trust and tighter integration.

At a recent meeting in Evian, the French president and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev voiced similar messages about the need to reconstruct Europe's security architecture (EurActiv 09/10/08).

"I don't see Russia as a determined rival to the European Union," Sarkozy told the Parliament.

"I think, on the contrary, that it would be necessary, in the future, to lay the basis of a common economic space between Russia and the EU, which will be, by the way, the best way to obtain from them that they get closer to the values of respect for human rights and democracy which we share in Europe."

He added that Europe and Russia needed each other, with Russia possessing the energy resources and Europe the technology that Moscow needs.

Transatlantic tensions

Without directly naming the United States, Sarkozy revealed that "others" considered military options when the conflict in Georgia erupted on 8 August, a solution which he described as "madness".

"Some said, and had [their] reasons to say, that dialogue [with Russia] was pointless and that the response to military aggression could be military [response]. Madness!," said the French president.

He also revealed that the US had opposed his visit to Moscow to broker the ceasefire agreement on 12 August.

"Despite everything, we played hand in hand with our American friends […] And frankly, looking at the world today, I don't think it needs a crisis between Europe and Russia. It would have been irresponsible," Sarkozy said.

Jag vill vara försiktig med att säga att vad vi nu ser i spåren av finanskrisen, är den slutliga förberedelsn för den slutlige antikrists framträdande.

Mn nog är det vi nu ser hända på den politiska och ekonomiska arenan, en förberedelse för att skapa den globala platå som han behöver för att ny styret över en hel värld.

Precis som vad vi idag på den andliga arenan ser av avfall, förbereder arenan för antikrists "propagandaminister", "den falske profeten", som ska ena "världsväckelsen" in under en enhetlig och gemensam religionsutövning i sämja och dialog, tvärsigenom alla kyrkor och samfund, såväl som med alla religionsutövningar.

Vad som kommer att sitta "mycket trångt", är en sann Biblisk tro på vem Jesus ÄR och betydelsen av offret av Kristi persons kropp och blod på korset. Med allt vad det innebär i en helhet ac Skriften.

"Världsväckelsen" under den falske profeten kommer naturligtvis att ha ett manipulerande, duperande Bibliskt språkbruk, men där sanningen om vem Jesus är och betydelsen av offret av Kristi persons (Gud och människa förenade), kommer att vara förvanskat.

Vill bara påminna om likheten idag på den politiska, ekonomiska arenan på 30- talet, som möjliggjorde Hittlers ( en föregångare till den slutlige antikrists framträdande) och dagens politiska och ekonomiska situation, där ropet efter en ledare som kan rätta ut de här problemen växer sig allt starkare.

Är det den slutlige antikrists framträdande, som den globale ledaren, som ska skapa ekonomisk stabilitet, enhet och brobygge över alla gränser, med frid, fred, samförstånd, solidaritet och rättvisa, som nu står för dörren?
